Who we are

Final Demand is a novelty letter service based in the United Kingdom. We print and mail personalised letters on your behalf. If you have any questions about this policy, WhatsApp us.

What data we collect

When you place an order we collect:

• Your name and email address
• The recipient's name and postal address
• The message content you write
• Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details)

How we use it

We use your data solely to fulfil your order — printing and posting the letter to the address you provide. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone other than the services required to deliver your order (listed below).

Third parties

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy
• Stannp — letter printing and mailing. Your recipient's name, address, and message are sent to Stannp to fulfil the order.
• Google — address autocomplete. Search queries are sent to Google Places API.
• Upstash — temporary order storage. Order data is held briefly while payment is processed and deleted once the letter is dispatched (within 24 hours).

Data retention

Order data is deleted from our systems once your letter has been successfully dispatched to print — typically within minutes of payment. Your email may be retained by Stripe for their own purposes in line with their privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Since most data is deleted shortly after dispatch there is usually nothing left to act on — but if you have a concern, get in touch via WhatsApp and we will help.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only data stored in your browser is your in-progress order (saved locally so you don't lose your work if you navigate away), which is cleared once your order is complete.
